The Jade Fool at Fools Play this Weekend!

It's confirmed! Taisha McFall the Jade Fool will be performing at Fools Play Santa's Lap this Saturday December 19. This puts her on guest list with the Yellow Fool and the ultra rare Pink Fool! Can the Maroon Fool be far behind in confirming his attendance too?

Our yearly yulefest will be one of our biggest this year with the three pictured Fools and the stalwart Oranges Purples Blues and Gingers of the world. Be there for your chance to embark on an epic journey of holiday joy.

The Biggest Christmas of All is THIS WEEKEND

Bust out the cookies and milk and then for the merriest Format of them all: Fools Play Santa’s Lap. Our yearly Christmas bash is THIS WEEKEND, SATURDAY the 19th! It's bound to be huge cuz we’ve got some extra special Fools wrapped up and waiting to be unboxed. Who among these will be there?

HARK HARD

The Holidays are a special time. Get cozy, warm up with some nice hot Mud Bay coffee and take part in the good cheer of Fools Play’s unique Holiday shows. This season we’re performing several perennials, and a brand new one, and of course we’ll be indulging in our massive star-studded yearly performance of Fools Play Santa’s Lap on December 19. We’ve got a present for you in the form of intangible Holiday-themed improv comedy every Saturday in December so come yule off with us.


Oh, and if you hate the Holidays and all the crass decorations and oppressive nutcrackers then you’re bound to enjoy our comical harking out. You can have it both ways at Fools Play.

GIVE THANKS

It’s time to give thanks the traditional way – by watching Fools being foolish.

This weekend marks our seventh annual performance of the Fools Play Thanksgiving Special. Find out how the pilgrims brought improv to the New World in a heretical improvised telling of the first Thanksgiving. It’s like eating a comedy yam.

This will also be your chance to see how the Ginger Fool and Orange Fool interact with the Yellow Fool. Orange and Yellow haven’t performed together in six years. And Ginger? Does Geoff even know there IS a Ginger Fool? Find out this Saturday!

FRESH FACES

Fools Play is bursting with pride to announce our latest Fools.

Please welcome Jamie Pederson the Ginger Fool. Jamie earned his Fooldom after a brief but memorable apprenticeship and has already clocked several shows. Come see him strut his stuff.

But there’s more! In a move that shocked the industry, Nathan Geyer the Orange Fool has returned to the cast after a six year absence! We’re tickled orange to have Nathan back in the fold.


His physical comedy and musical aptitude will be on full display this Saturday when Fools Play performs Conversation Starter, a melodious extravaganza in which conversations lead to songs that lead to scenes. Nathan will be rocking out on the guitar and keyboard, so be sure to catch the show and wish him a happy return.

AN EXTRA HOUR TO PARTY

This Halloween is more than just the usual holiday. It’s Fools Play’s big Trick or Treat show, it’s our apprentice Jamie’s chance to become a Fool, it’s our apprentice Jamie’s birthday, AND it’s also daylight savings time!

That means you have ONE EXTRA HOUR TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN!Fools Play Trick or Treat. After the hilarious show concludes you’ll have loaded up on candy AND have plenty of time to go to your next With these great savings, you have no reason not to indulge and check yourself into the most madcap Halloween party around, Halloween celebration. After all, the stroke of midnight will mean it’s really only 11:00. Splurge!

All you have to do is come to Mud Bay Coffee on October 31 at 8:00. Those of you really out to have a good time will want to arrive in costume, but then again you’ll probably be in costume anyway to take full advantage of this extra long Halloween.
